Editor Tools

VRseBuilder provides Unity Editor windows for onboarding, project setup, module work, and adding preconfigured scene components.

Open these tools from the Unity menu: VRseBuilder > .... Some tools are also available from the Scene View overlay.

Setup Wizard

Open: VRseBuilder > Setup Wizard

Use the Setup Wizard to:

  • Start onboarding after opening a VRseBuilder project.
  • Install or manage VRse MCP.
  • Open the Project Hub.
  • Access integrations and learning resources.

The Setup Wizard is a starting point. Use Project Hub for ongoing project management.

Project Hub

Open: VRseBuilder > Project Hub

Use Project Hub to:

  • Create and organize projects, modules, and experiences.
  • Create and open module scenes.
  • Manage project-level packages and integrations.
  • Prepare build settings and create builds.

VRseBuilder organizes content as Project > Module > Experience > Scene.

Module Hub

Open: VRseBuilder > Module Hub

Use Module Hub to:

  • Work with the currently open module scene.
  • Access story authoring, story validation, voice-over tools, and VR rig options.
  • Review module-level issues before testing or building.

Open a module scene through Project Hub before using Module Hub.

VRseBlocks

Open: VRseBuilder > VRseBlocks

Also available: Select VRseBlocks in the Scene View overlay.

Use VRseBlocks to:

  • Browse preconfigured interaction, tool, UI, constraint, and animation blocks.
  • Search and filter available blocks.
  • Add blocks to the current scene instead of assembling common VR interactions manually.

Review each added block in the scene before using it. See VRse Blocks for the available blocks.

How They Work Together

  1. Use Setup Wizard to start and connect MCP.
  2. Use Project Hub to create the project structure and module scene.
  3. Use Module Hub to work inside the open module scene.
  4. Use VRseBlocks to add ready-made scene components.
